About Elyson Family Dental

Elyson Family Dental is committed to providing patients in Katy and surrounding areas with the high-quality dental care that they deserve. We treat patients of all ages and dental backgrounds, and we are always accepting new patients. Our team also speaks Spanish, Chinese, and Korean, so if you or anyone in your family would prefer to speak any of these languages with our staff, please just let us know. MEET THE TEAM

Dr. Clara Yoo

Dr. Yoo is originally from Roanoke, Virginia, and she is excited about serving the Katy community. She earned her Bachelor of Science in biochemistry from the University of Texas at Austin. Dr. Yoo then continued her education at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston to achieve her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree. She truly believes in patient-centered care in which she works with you to choose the treatment that best suits your needs. With her soft touch, engaging personality, and quality skills, Dr. Yoo prides herself in establishing a natural rapport with her patients.

Dr. Johnson Cheng

Dr. Cheng was born and raised in New Jersey and moved to Texas when he was in high school. He attended Texas A&M University, where he earned his Bachelor of Science in biology and graduated with honors. He then attended Baylor College of Dentistry, where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Dr. Cheng is passionate about providing a variety of treatments in the most comfortable setting possible. He loves to talk to patients and get to know them on a personal level. His refreshing personality is guaranteed to ease your nerves and make your dental visits more relaxed. In his spare time, Dr. Cheng enjoys going for runs, listening to music, and spending quality time with family.

Oatmeal

Oatmeal is our office mascot, and his responsibilities include bringing smiles to our patient’s faces, helping them feel at ease, and receiving as many treats and pats on the head as possible. Naturally, he takes his job very seriously! If you see Oatmeal around the office, feel free to take a few moments to say hi. He will be glad to see you!
